Probably if you are planning a trip to Sri Lanka you have to stay some night to sleep in its capital: Colombo. In that case we suggest you take a look at the Clock Inn, an affordable accommodation with all the comforts.
The Clock Inn is located in Colombo 03, about 6 km from Pettah Central Station (buses and trains). It is an area with many current businesses, shopping centers, restaurant options, etc.
The hotel has a modern decoration, is very comfortable, but maintains reasonable prices, intended for all types of travelers.
Our room was on the first floor (two), had a tremendously comfortable bed (which is appreciated after a few hours of flight), an impeccable bathroom, two complimentary bottles of water, TV with 900 channels (we do not exaggerate ) and WiFi. There is also a bunk option in mixed rooms with 6 and 4 beds, with very interesting prices.
Also in the price include breakfast to start the morning well. They have a common room with a Chill Out area, small tables, open kitchen and free tea and coffee for everyone. It also has a couple of computers with free internet connection.
The Clock Inn is a chain of cheap and quality accommodation in Sri Lanka and at the moment they have hostels in Colombo (double) and Kandy.
