WHERE TO SLEEP IN SARAJEVO

Sarajevo was one of the cities that we enjoyed most of our time in the Balkans. Its history, its atmosphere, its atmosphere, its people ... everything turned out to be somehow familiar. The accommodation could not be different. We stay in the Pansion River, a family-run hotel with a lot of tradition, with more than 100 years of history.

Its location is perfect, a few meters from the town hall and the only accommodation on the Miljacka River, which divides the city in two. The center of Sarajevo is a short 3 minute walk.

The room we enjoyed was totally new, with all the comforts (including satellite TV, Wi-Fi, etc.) and with access to a terrace on the spectacular river. Right now they are under construction, renovating the rooms and building new apartments, so in the coming months they will surely leave it very cool!

In the upper part of the building is the Bazeni restaurant, one of the most famous in the city at the time and still today. On Saturdays they usually have live performances from local groups, dances and other shows. There are also breakfast included in the reservation.

Both the owners and those who work there are very friendly and nice people, they treated us super well! Hopefully we will return one day!
