The Green valley cottage It was our little house in Haldummulla, near Haputale, in the highlands of Sri Lanka. As the name says, the Green Valley is surrounded by green and nature.

In total the Green Valley has about 32 cabins, ours had two rooms (1 double and one single) super nice, as well as the bathroom that had a hot shower and a rock piece that gave a natural and wild touch to the place. It has certainly been one of the most peculiar accommodations where we have stayed so far!

The site has a lot of land and fantastic gardens. It also has two pools, too bad that when we went it was not impossible to enjoy them, because being natural water and in the dry season they were not full!

Our little house also had a porch where we have spent a lot of time, chatting or just enjoying nature ... here we also find many fireflies, what pestles they are!

The breakfasts were also great: eggs, sausages, tea, toast with jam and butter and sooo fruit. Thus it is a pleasure to start the day!

The staff has been super friendly at any time, as well as Loga, its owner who, in addition to managing this beautiful little hotel, also manages a store one step away from the Haputale train station: the website link. Here, apart from being able to check your mail and buy souvenirs, you can try the great attraction of the highlands: the tea. There are many types: the classics (black tea, green tea, white tea) and more innovative (lime and lemon, strawberries and kiwis, mint ...). It was delicious!

Thank you very much Loga for the hospitality !!!
