The one who had the idea of Arenaa Star Hotel it has to be a great passionate about cinema: the whole hotel is decorated with posters of famous Hollywood, Bollywood and Asian movies. Each floor has a theme (Indian, Thai, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Hollywood movies ...) and wherever you look you will find thousands of murals with the faces of the famous actors they play. A curious hotel without a doubt!
Our room, the standard, had a private bathroom, refrigerator, a / c, plasma TV and wifi. We were touched by the Chinese film plant, so as you can imagine, we did not recognize any of the faces that decorate the halls.
There are other types of rooms, such as honeymoon suite with a huge round bed and a huge jacuzzi!
Like any hotel worth its salt it has a daily housekeeping service and breakfast included. And hey, breakfast piece: buffet! We ate everything, there is a Western offer (rolls, croissants, eggs, turkey bacon, fruit, cereals) to satisfy Rober's palate and there is also an Asian offer (dhal and roti, rice and noodles, potatoes ...) to do it with Lety!
If you stay at the Arenaa you will also have a welcome drink (mint and lime tea is delicious) in a nearby bar and you can attend a Free dance show. It is certainly a hotel that bets a lot on customer service, and is appreciated! The reception It is very beautiful and the employees will always attend you for any need.
A great point in favor of the Arenaa (apart from the clear breakfast) is the location: located about 5 minutes walk from Petaling Street, the hotel is next to Chinatown without being in the middle of the mess! In addition, for the more lazy, right in front of the reception there is a stop for the free KL buses (yes, you heard right: free buses, we'll tell you !!) and next to the train station LRT by Jamek Masjid, one of the most beautiful mosques in the city. The area is full of convenience stores, restaurants and shops.
The Arenaa Star Hotel is a good option for stay in Kuala Lumpur with affordable prices and a unique atmosphere.
