Day 21: SAN FRANCISCO (Twin Peaks, Golden Gate, Sausalito)

Today we have to pick up the rental car in the United States to go see the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, the icon of the city, from all viewpoints.
Our planning is to upload Twin Peaks and see the sights of San Francisco and of Golden Gate Bridge, so with our beloved GPS we are heading towards it.
We left our hotel, the Grant Hotel after breakfast and in less than 20 minutes we are already in Twin Peaks, with stunning views of San Francisco, we arrive soon, so we avoid buses that start arriving when we leave.

After enjoying these incredible views, we set off for Golden Gate Bridge. We want to cross it by car and on foot, so we go to all possible points indicated by the websites and guides, to take the best perspectives of the red bridge.
Our first stop is before crossing the bridge on the right hand side where there is a small parking lot where there are panels with a small explanation of the construction of the bridge and with good views of the Golden gate.

We cross the bridge by car and park again on the right to walk a part on foot.

After these stops where we get tired of seeing all the Golden Gate perspectives, we set off towards Sausalito, a town very close to San Francisco. There we go for a walk, we do some shopping and we start to see the first samples of Halloween. Without a doubt, it is one of the best places to see in San Francisco

The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco
This takes us about 2 hours and as we have risen a lot, we think it is best to go to San Francisco and eat there, even if it is a little late.

We return to leave the car in the parking lot and after eating and resting for a while in the hotel, we went out again to wander as we are doing these days since we arrived in San Francisco.

After 10 pm we take our tram and return to the hotel to rest. Tomorrow we leave San Francisco and go to Los Angeles.
