One of the things we spend more time when preparing a trip is to find accommodation ideal to make our rest an important part of the trip.
How many times we will not regret it when there was no remedy for wanting to save us a few euros? You just have to spend some time and know what we really need so that the accommodations are another important and unforgettable part of our trips.
We leave you a relationship of 5 things that travelers look for in an accommodation.

The 3B: "Good, Nice and Cheap"

Yes, yes, we already know that this is 3 things, but if we look well and find an accommodation that brings them together we will have already done much of the work.
And it must be said that this is not always easy, since normally the one that is good and beautiful is not cheap and the one that is cheap, many times, due to ignorance, we think it will not be good and we discard it.
This thought is something that we usually have ingrained and when we see a cheap accommodation, we automatically associate it with "something bad has to have".
We are going to show you that this is not always the case. If we show you this image of a house in Ubud, Bali With several rooms, private pool, free Wi-Fi and all the amenities, what would you think?

"It's beautiful, it sure has to cost a pastón"Well, nothing is further from the truth: you can rent this type of accommodation from 245 euros a week. Or what is the same, 35 euros a day to distribute among the people who rent it.

And this other what would you think? Ship in Amsterdam, with an excellent location, free Wi-Fi and a unique experience to have the possibility of staying in a boat from 175 euros a week. "Surely something bad has to have. "

Well, neither: it is central, spacious, with all the comforts and economical thanks to the last minute holiday rental offers that we can find among individuals.

Central location or close to local transport

Another of the things we value travelers in an accommodation is the location. Being able to find a central accommodation that also complies with the 3Bs mentioned above deserves a great party. And the possibility of going to the hotel to leave shopping or rest for a while, without having to waste hours, is something that is valued, and much.

And if it cannot be central, with it being well connected with local transport, be it bus or subway, it is enough for us.
The point is not to have to waste a lot of time when returning to the accommodation after a day exhausted from walking around the city or having to invest an hour when we want to go out to dinner or have a drink.

That includes wifi, breakfast and parking. By this order

Today and more and more, internet and social networks have become essential in our lives. There is nothing that can bother us more than arriving at an accommodation and telling us that there is no wifi or that it costs 10 euros per hour. But what kind of luxury is the internet today?

Breakfast is also very important. There is nothing like going down to breakfast to charge energy before going out to eat the city. Yes, yes, we already know that you can do this in any cafeteria, but it is not the same to go out already with the batteries in place, than having to go in search of a place where you can tone your stomach first thing in the morning.
We prefer that the price of the room includes breakfast, although it increases its price by 10%.

And the parking, another of the greats "luxuries"In many hotels. But let's see gentlemen, how can they charge 25 for a parking space for one night? For trips where we use a rental car, this service becomes practically a necessity and of course we are not willing to Pay for it almost more than for the room.

Flexible hours for check-in and check-out

And what about the check-in or check-out times in some hotels. Sometimes it seems that they do not want us to choose them when they put so many impediments on us.
In our case we have ruled out some accommodations for having a check-in with very unfortunate schedules, such as at 4 in the afternoon without any possibility of extending it, since if we are doing a route, as a rule, at 4 in the late we have not yet reached the destination.
The truth is that we prefer to opt for an accommodation with less comfort, but that offers us ample time to check-in, even if it is not 24 hours (that is already a luxury for us), that not a 10 accommodation, but that forces us to run to give us the key.
With the check-out we are more permissive, since although we have to leave the room at 10 in the morning we always keep our backpacks, so we cannot complain.

Have good comments from previous clients

Another of the most important things when choosing an accommodation are thecomments from other customers. They say you can't always trust them, but we, based on our experience, have to say that they have always been successful enough to know what we were going to find when we arrived.
In this we find a good example with Media Vacations, leaders in vacation rental between individuals They show us objective and useful comments about the accommodations, helping us to choose between different options we may have.
With them we forget the typical "It has no elevator and there are 5 floors", "breakfast is very repetitive"or the eternal"the bathroom is too small", which are quite subjective. However, they give special importance to those that are interesting as those who explain how to get there by public transport, if there are restaurants nearby or confirm that the staff is very professional.
With this type of companies we know that if a lodging has 100 comments and 90 are good or adapt to what we are looking for, we will not be wrong choosing it.
