It is an apartment in an old building, with somewhat obsolete facilities and a handful of simple rooms, however the location is very good (5 blocks from Termini, but in a quiet neighborhood) and the value for money interesting. It has a shared kitchen. A place to be at ease without leaving a fortune in Rome.

2 - Buonarroti Home

Other accommodation that can be reached on foot from Termini. Good service, comfortable and clean facilities, room with private bathroom, just a step away from the subway and with breakfast included. A good place for an affordable price.

3- Santa Prassede Hotel

Simple hotel in the Rione Monti, near Termini. A good option to get good prices in a correct accommodation, unpretentious, with good attention, clean and in a central and quiet area. The rooms have a private bathroom.

4 - Frank's House

It is a B&B with spacious rooms, with private outdoor bathroom, careful decoration, excellent service and good location, near Termini, maybe not the best location but for this price what it offers is very interesting.

Interesting accommodation near the Colosseum. Simple rooms, with private bathroom and breakfast included (although somewhat scarce). The best thing is that from here you can explore Rome on foot!

6 - Hotel Paba

Small family hotel on the second floor of a typical building in the center of Rome. One step away from the Colosseum. It has simple rooms (maybe somewhat dated) but comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is served directly in the room. Recommendable.

7 - Jeth House

If what you want is a nice place, with good treatment, clean, in a quiet and central neighborhood, and at a good price ... eco qua! The cheapest rooms have a shared bathroom and all have breakfast included.

8 - Domus Celentano

If you manage to get any of the offers on booking (we have seen it for € 49 a night) do not think about it! They are renovated apartments, in a 17th-century building in the heart of Rome, in one of the most attractive neighborhoods of the city. They have a small kitchen and the basics to spend unforgettable days!

If you prefer to stay near the Vatican, this B&B is an interesting option. the rooms with shared bathroom and breakfast are from € 50. The facilities are clean and renovated and the area is quiet with many restaurant options.

10 - Folia B&B

Another option near the Vatican. This B&B is something more curious, with simple but cozy decoration. Rooms with private bathroom outside, well lit and clean. Excellent service and breakfast included.

1 - Alessandro Downtown Hostel

A backpacking reference in the center of Rome. It has all the comforts for lonely travelers: common kitchen, lockers, comfortable bunk beds in spacious rooms, clean bathrooms and great atmosphere. They give breakfast although it is not included in the price. It is located near Termini and with the center of Rome accessible on foot.

2 - The Yellow

A hostel 15 minutes from Termini but in a quiet area. It has a bar / restaurant with a lot of atmosphere and local food. A perfect place to interact with other travelers.

3 - Melting Pot Rome

Homestay and homely hostel. Good attention, they even offer free pasta for dinner! Maybe the rooms somewhat small, but total, to sleep you don't need more. It is very well located, 15 minutes from the Colosseum and in a very lively area.

4 - New Generation Hostel Santa Maria Maggiore

Hostel with new facilities, comfortable and clean. Large rooms and bathrooms and an excellent location, on the Rione Monti, a short walk from the Colosseum and the center of Rome.

5 - Comics Guesthouse

This hostel is perfect for comic book lovers! Its decoration is based on the characters of the most famous drawings and manga. Also in the common room there are recreational machines and Play Station. A point in favor is its location, next to the Tiber River, a step away from Piazza del Popolo and the Vatican and access to the metro.
