WHERE TO SLEEP IN MADRID: MAD 4 YOU HOSTEL

Located in the heart of Malasaña, the Mad 4 you Hostel It was our Madrid home for 4 nights. It is a comfortable place, well managed, full of life and travelers arriving from anywhere in the world, in addition the hostel is very beautiful: it has managed to find the perfect balance between a traditional architecture of the fifteenth century and a few modernist touches.

We stayed in a room with 8 bunk beds, with private bathroom. Each bunk had a plug and a lamp. We were lucky with the classmates since they were all nice and nobody snored XD. The bathroom was clean (cleaned twice a day). There is also the possibility of staying in private rooms (single or double) or in a bedroom for women only.

The best thing about the hostel is, without a doubt, its fantastic inner courtyard where you can spend time chatting with the other guests or even working with your laptop. Within walking distance there is a community room, with TV and board games.

Another strong point of the hostel is that, every morning before leaving to explore Madrid, you can put on your boots with the free breakfast that includes coffee, tea, milk, cereals, toast with tomato, ham, jam, brioches and fruit juices.

The Mad 4 you also has a small bar where you can have a very cold beer after an exhausting day in the Spanish capital ... and a cold beer is always a good idea 🙂

There is a 24-hour reception (we only met Pablo, very old, but they all looked kind and friendly), so if you have any questions there will always be someone willing to help you.
