Ains, Italy, what a paradise for lovers of good food (and what a constant temptation). Verona is no exception, in this city of the Veneto region you can find a few places to try delicious and cheap snacks. In this post we will tell you 7 restaurants to eat cheap in Verona:

A short distance from the Porta Borsari is this corner 100% Veneto. The food here is like before, cooked slowly and with love. Portions are plentiful and quality and seasonal ingredients. We especially recommend braised dishes with polenta (€ 15). As for prices, it calculates about € 7.50-10 for the first courses and about € 10-12 for the seconds.

It is a good option if you want to have a glass of wine or an aperitif spritz (€ 2.50) and chop some aperitovo. Delicatessen and cheese tables are highly recommended (there are 3 sizes: small, medium and large. They cost € 12, € 16 and € 25). It is a great alternative to the typical pasta, and the prices are very good considering that it is in the center. In addition the place has a lot of charm.

One of the Italian fast foods that we like the most, are the piadinas. And in this place they eat super rich piadinas. There are many types and the big offer can leave doubts ... if you want an advice I would try the affumicata (grilled sweet ham and smoked provolone cheese), or the saporita (ham and squaccherone cheese). There are also vegetarian and sweet options. Prices between 4-6 €.

Corso Cavour, 7

It is one of the most famous restaurants in Verona, thanks to its location (they say that Romeo himself lived here) and a fixed price quality menu (€ 19). It includes a first and a second. There is quite a variety of dishes (there are 11 pasta dishes and 16 seconds). You can see them here.

We agree that in Italy you not only have to eat pizza, but hey, at least once a week is almost mandatory! So if in Verona you feel like pizza, here you will find the one that by far is the best in the city. Prices: € 10-15 per person.

If you prefer to buy something to take and make the most of your time in Verona, you can go to this place and ask for a schiacciata (a kind of focaccia stuffed with varied ingredients). There is also room to eat there, so it's up to you! Tip for those of us who love potatoes: they also make stuffed potatoes. And another positive thing: they make a good Aperol spritz for € 3.50

If you are not very hungry and want to eat something light, we recommend you go to this small place, perfect for a snack. It has a great variety of wines, but we always prefer the Aperol spritz (€ 2.50). And to chop something? The meatballs and the arancini are deadly.
