WHERE TO SLEEP IN PHUKET: NOVOTEL SURIN

Taking advantage of the visit of Rober's sister, Patri and her boyfriend Giacomo, we took our coat of backpacks and we went to Phuket, south of Thailand, to spend some great days in two of the hotels that Novotel has on the island. Because you know, sometimes you have to take care of yourself and we know how to do it 😉

First things first: is it worth it? Of course! It has been one of the best hotels we have ever been and no, it is not as expensive as you might think: the rooms start from € 70 for a double with breakfast. In Europe for this price or read it difficult to find such a resort * _ *

Our room It was great, spacious, full of details, with a super comfortable mattress and a step away from a pool where there were even slides (yes, we took the child we had inside and threw ourselves over and over again)…

… But the best was the second day, when they organized nothing more at the pool and nothing less than a foam party... and better than in Ibiza, hey.

Another of the things we really enjoyed was the cuisine of one of the resort's restaurants, the Champions Bar & Grill, where we could try the occasional Asian cap, like Chicken satay with peanut sauce and return (if only with the taste buds) to Spain as we tried potato omelette with sausage, squid with aioli and meatballs in tomato sauce.

If you want to liven up the night with a few cocktails there is an offer that is very good: you pay 599 baht (about € 15) and you have the right to free drink bar (cocktails and beers included) from 7pm to 10pm. The rest of the day, with the same pack, you can get drunk with soft drinks and natural juices, which you already know: with the warmth of Phuket you have to hydrate a lot XD

And what about the beach? The Novotel Surin is right in front of Surin Beach, which for many is the most beautiful beach in Phuket. After spending an hour in the clear waters of this beach, we advise you to return at sunset: the sky is dyed thousands of colors and jump between the waves with the last rays of the sun is priceless. If you want to snorkel, it is best to go to the rock area on the right Enjoy Enjoy!

If you travel with children you have to know that there are kids clubs and even one cinema where every day there are 3 movies that entertain the little ones (with popcorn included). There is a pool for the kids and in general the hotel is perfect for a family holiday.

What if you travel as a couple? Also: apart from enjoying the pool, the beach and the different activities offered by the hotel (such as yoga, water tai chi, muay thai classes ...), you can stick a spa session Bum (and nothing expensive, 60 minutes of thai massage, cost 550THB, about € 12, which to be in a resort is wasted price).

For all who want to be fit (or those who after eating so much and so well feel guilty) there is a Gym open 24 hours.

Another tip is the Breakfast buffet: super complete, with proposals for those who love sweets and those who prefer to eat something salty ... and plentiful, very abundant! If, like us, more than a breakfast with diamonds, you prefer a breakfast with noodles ... you're going to freak out about the emotion hehe. It is included in the price of the room.

So far our review of the hotel ... this time we were guests of Novotel Surin, but our opinion is free and sincere. We loved it and had a great time, they were two days full of fun and at the same time relaxing. We especially recommend it to traveling families and to all those who want to spend a few days relaxing, facing one of the best beaches in Phuket.
