In Galle we could not sleep in a place that was worth more than in the Galle Heritage Villa, belonging to the hotel chain Jetwing. This charming hotel is in the heart of the beautiful city of Galle, within the walls of the old town and within walking distance of the lighthouse and the promenade. It is an old European villa restored to accommodate four beautiful rooms.
Upon entering you understand that the site is wonderful. The main hall is decorated with antique furniture and paintings, with a touch of modernity that gives it a unique atmosphere. They welcomed us there with a welcome drink and a huge smile.
The room where we slept was simply spectacular. We seemed to have jumped a few centuries ago and been in a palace of a wealthy family. That if it were not for the TV to Rober and the Wifi connection for Lety. The room is super spacious, with a bed so comfortable that you have the feeling of being in a cloud! And the details are everywhere. It also has a wonderful bathroom too.
This is where we tried one of the best breakfasts in Sri Lanka! I had even bacon! Then we took a look at the kitchen and we understood ... nothing bad can come of this kitchen! It was like taken out of a movie!
And to finish off the task, Jetwing's friends invited us to visit their other Galle hotel, the Jetwing Lighthouse. And there we spend the morning like two frogs without leaving the water, in one of its two huge pools that almost meet the sea! They also have a private beach and lots of green spaces to relax. We had the opportunity to see a room and we were stoned! But how cool!
In our time at the Galle Heritage Villa we were very well attended by Roshan and all the staff in general. Thanks guys!
