After throwing our lantern to the sky on Loy Krathong night we took another bus tartana that led us on route 1095 to the most hippie village in Thailand, Pai. A small town with a relaxed atmosphere, although perhaps something artificial made to measure for the tourist type of Thailand. They are a couple of streets full of bars and alternative shops, with hippie murals and good rolling messages.

Explore the surroundings It is also very interesting, we did it, of course, on the back of a firecracker motorcycle that he ran nothing and sucked gasoline like a Ferrari. The first excursion was a total failure: we never reached the caves we wanted to visit. After a half hour at 20 km / h climbing a mountain, the tank began to empty, to the point that when we reached the top view point we realized that we had passed the critical threshold, that is, that with gasoline that we had left and could not reach the caves, nor could we return to Pai.

Desperate we went to ask the military, police, tourists, until in the end the man from a food stand sold us a liter that he took from his own motorcycle with a tube, in the purest Mac Gyver style, at the price of gold. In order not to risk too much, we opted to return, and make the 15 km down with the engine off (again, and that is that man is the only animal that trips twice on the same stone).

The afternoon excursion was more productive, this time we filled the tank, although at the entrance of the gas station there was a mini hurricane that we could dodge paddled. In the end it was not so much, so with enough gasoline and at a constant speed of 30 km / h we visited a World War II bridge, the Pai canyon that we still have to understand, and best of all villages that we pass on the way to chinese town, and the views of the valley from the top of this, although to get there we had to get rid of the petardete, too much slope for him or too many rotis at the previous dinner.

When we return, almost at night, we get fired by a very nice women who dressed in their typical costumes did aerobics at the rate of reggaeton, with a message between the lines ... GIVE ME MORE GASOLIIIINE (we swear it!).

By the way, we have known the Asian version of Jack sparrow, here you have JACK SPALLOW:
