The Elsa's Homestay It is one of those places that simply… love us!
To start, you are in Allepey, the city of Kerala from where most of the Backwaters cruises depart, is also 7 minutes walk from the beach, is clean, well decorated, silent and its hosts Tommy and Elsa are the sea of friendly and friendly!
Our room was double, bright, with a / c, very comfortable bed. The bathroom was spotlessly clean ... thing is appreciated and with hot water. Yuppi!
Tommy and Elsa live below, and if you are passionate about Indian cuisine, Elsa teaches incredibly good cooking classes. If you do not dare to learn, but you are good to eat ... do not worry: because Elsa can prepare all the recipes you want! We were able to try a few dishes, each richer than another.
Here we take our first idlis, which together with the dosas will constitute our breakfast throughout Kerala and Tamil Nadu 😉
The house also has a nice terrace, living room with TV and sofas and a very handsome garden (where in the morning a peacock comes to see if he catches some food!)

Elsa teaches cooking classes, and Tommy manages a company to do cruises in the backwaters, we did it with him and it was one of the experiences we liked most in India!
