1 YEAR TRAVEL (2.0)

A year has passed since we landed in Delhi in what was the beginning of our second great trip.

On November 27, 2013, India received us as only she can do: spitting in her face her sticky air and her smell of jasmine, challenge, curry, injustices, incense, pee, passion and tradition. This mixture turned out to be explosive, and fucking addictive. The pee no eh. The smell of pee would be quite dispensable the truth!

Even so, India fell in love with us. They were almost 4 months traveling from north to south, from train to train, from look to look, from adventure to adventure. 4 months that became the most amazing trip we ever lived. When we had to leave we were clear that the farewell would be "see you soon".

This year it also had the blue color of the Maldivian water, where we found that paradise is also within reach of the backpacker pocket; and the green of the jungle of Sri Lanka, where we travel with our friend Jordi and we spend as dwarfs crossing with leopards, dancing barefoot under a tree house, climbing giant rocks and swimming in the Indian Ocean.

In March we separated for a month: Rober returned home and Lety went to travel alone in Malaysia. It was a unique experience where I realized that everyone would have to do it (at least) once in a lifetime.

It was a month where I returned to places known as Kuala Lumpur and Melaka and discovered new places that I loved like the Tioman Islands. Although in reality I consider it a trip almost more internal than on my feet, a month where the universe was in my favor and always sent me to someone to face the problems I was encountering. I discovered the worst and the best of traveling alone and grew as a traveler and as a person.

In April we met again at the Bangkok airport to receive Lety's parents ... to be all 4 freaking out in colors in Thailand and Cambodia. With them we returned to Angkor, Phnom Phen and Koh Rong, our never-never country, which, unfortunately, we believe will never be the same again.

After these "vacations" began what would be a new and different adventure: living in New Zealand. On the other side of the world, literally, we discover a land that takes away your hiccups in every km you travel. We live in a van, also in private homes doing housesitting, we travel the north island and then the south, from adventure to adventure, until we reach Queenstown, one of the most beautiful cities we have ever seen, where we have settled with our friend Jairo ( the nomadic backpack), working as housekeepers and earning money to continue traveling.

This year is over, but the trip does not… we already have a new destination: in mid-March we will visit a country that has been calling us for a long time, although for now we will continue to enjoy Queenstown to the rhythm of our new motto: every floor cleaned is a trip won!
