This trip to Porto and Guimaraes in 4 days took us to Portugal for the first time, where we had the opportunity to meet two of the most beautiful cities in the country.
We fly from Girona to Porto where we arrive late in the afternoon, with the time to go to dinner and stay in one of the most central streets of the city.
On the second day of our trip to Porto and Guimaraes in 4 days, we dedicate it to tour the city of Porto knowing places like Avenida Aliados, Torre dos Clérigos, the incredible bookstore of Llello, the Luís I Bridge, the Ribeira do Douro…
We could also enjoy excellent cuisine, led by some Francesinhas that will be one of the things we will miss most when we return home.
On the second day of our trip to Porto and Guimaraes in 4 days we go to the city of Guimaraes by train and we can get to know one of the most soulful cities in the country. We get lost in its streets and know places like the impressive Castle, the Mount of Penha ... before returning again to Porto.
On the third day we enjoy Porto again knowing places like the Church of San Francisco, the Ribera del Duero, Vila Nova de Gaia ... before returning to the airport where we catch a flight that takes us back home.
