Day 1: GIRONA - PISA

Today has been a much more busy day than usual, but we have taken it with the philosophy that gives the knowledge that this afternoon we have a flight from Girona to Pisa, which will be the entrance to our trip to Cinque Terre, one of the corners of Italy that we most wanted to know.
After so many trips, you can see the ease or perhaps the little time we spend on quite superfluous things such as the time to pack. Something we have done in less than 5 minutes late today.

At 7 pm we leave home and in less than 30 minutes we are in a low-cost parking at the airport, which we will use during the next 5 days of our trip and that will allow us save us some good euros compared to Aena parking.

Just arrived at the Girona Airport car park

After we were transferred to the airport in less than 5 minutes, since the parking is only 1 kilometer and a half, we entered an airport that we found much more empty than usual and what we saw in our last.

The passage of controls is much faster than usual, we intuit that by the time it is and the few flights left to depart today.
We spend the hour and a half that we have left until our flight from Girona to Pisa entertaining reviewing our Cinque Terre travel planning and having dinner in that place that we only step on in our trips and that we don't know very well why it attracts us in those moments.

At 10 pm, boarding begins, much faster now than Ryanair already allocates seats and allows a handbag. It was about time we got to this, because the truth is that to be putting the pressure handbag in the suitcase, it was not a dish of good taste for anyone.

We landed at half past eleven at night and between we left and not from flight from Girona to Pisa, it's almost 12 at night, so we have to run to catch the PisaMover bus that will take us direct from the airport to Pisa central station.

PisaMover bus

In 10 minutes we planted ourselves in Central Pisa and with our great GPS of the City2Maps application, which we used so much on our trips, and that saved us from so many mistakes, we quickly oriented to reach our hotel in Pisa, the Modern Hotel.
We have booked near the Central Station, since we met Pisa 6 years ago in one and tomorrow we will soon leave for La Spezia, so the location near the station was essential for us.
After checking in we enter the room after a quarter past midnight and believe that before 10 minutes we are already in bed.
They have given us the passwords to connect to the internet via Wi-Fi, but there is no sign of the signal.
Tomorrow will be another day…
