Day 4: BALLESTAS ISLANDS - ICA - HUACACHINA - NAZCA Today we don't need the alarm to get up and open our eyes sooner than expected. At 5.30 in the morning we are already putting the batteries and ordering everything at 7 to be having breakfast on the fourth floor of our hotel, with fantastic views.

Day 2: LIMA We have jetlag, confirmed. We have woken up every hour throughout the night. After 3 failed attempts to go back to sleep, we get up, order things a bit and after preparing we go straight to the breakfast room of our hotel in Miraflores, the Casa Andina Miraflores Center to have breakfast, to load energies and face everything What we have to see in Lima.

Day 1: BARCELONA - LIMA It's 1.05 in the morning and the alarm sounds after 2 hours in which in the end we have decided to lie down for a while and at least rest even if we are not able to close our eyes and sleep for the butterflies We have in the stomach knowing that we are only a few hours from boarding the flight from Barcelona to Lima that will finally take us to one of the countries we most wanted to know: Peru.

The trip to Peru for free in 21 days led us to tour one of the most fascinating countries in the world. We arrived from Barcelona to Lima, where we spent the first day of our trip discovering the city of eternal fog. From here we begin to travel south, by local transport, making our first stop in the Paracas Reserve, where we not only enjoy one of the most beautiful landscapes in the country, but we also knew the Ballestas Islands.

Day 0: PREPARATIONS Tuesday, April 1, 2014 We always have a destination that goes through our head for years and normally, for one reason or another, this destination ends up resisting us. This has been the case of our first destination this year. For years we have had it in mind and always, for one reason or another, we have finished elsewhere ... although in our head we have continued to maintain it as a short-term destination.
