Rome is simply wonderful: this open-air museum will make you travel to the past, you will fall in love with its gastronomy, with its millenary history and its exciting present, you will have fun with the sympathy of its inhabitants and the madness of its streets ... in short, it will be A journey you will remember forever.

And for everything to go phenomenally here you have this beautiful guide that we have done with much love and affection.

We are sorry to announce that the book is no longer available 🙁

What will you find in the guide

In the 427 pages From this book you will find everything you need so that your days in Rome are good, beautiful and cheap. The guide is divided into five parts:

♣ BUONGIORNO!

In the first chapter we are going to tell you a little about the history of the city (ehhh you don't yawn that it will be a fast and fun “class”), we will tell you a few curiosities that you probably did not know about the capital of Italy and we will also give you A list of movies, books and songs to start traveling from your home sofa (or bed, or balcony, or bathroom). Because as we always say “a journey begins with preparations!” We also include a mini guide to get to know the Italians a little more, which surely makes you laugh.

♣ THE BEST

This section is dedicated to first-time travelers, those who never visited Rome before and want to take advantage of their trip to get to know the typical thing (which is so typical for something!). 'Er Mejo der Mejo' in Roman means 'the best of the best' and in this chapter we will tell you the 10 essential things to see (including the Vatican) and we will propose a very cool 3-day itinerary.

♣ ITINERARIES

If you are a repeat offender in Rome you may already be tired of always seeing the same (with permission from the Colosseum). No problem: there are as many Romas as people and in this chapter we will reveal their many faces (there are something for everyone: foodie, green, kids, shopaholic, unusual, mysterious, religious, partying, dolce vita and archeology)

♣ GASTRONOMY

Italy is, without a doubt, one of the countries where you eat best in the world (and if you tried the lasagna that Lety's mother does you would have no doubt). If you are of good food you cannot miss this chapter where we are going to recommend the 10 dishes that you should try in Rome (not only pizza and pasta lives the Roman), we will tell you a few tricks to eat cheap, we will introduce you to the wonderful world Italian street food and we will give you a list of 20 good, beautiful and cheap restaurants where you can eat for less than € 10.

♣ USEFUL INFO

In the last chapter we are going to give you a few tips so that your trip goes as well as possible: we will tell you from where to get the best views of the city, we will propose getaways near Rome and there will be a practical information section on transport, accommodation and Tourist passes like the Roma Pass. Come on, if I were you I wouldn't think about it two and I would buy this guide NOW! Before Lonely Planet hires us, given our great work, and the price goes up, are you coming on a trip with us?

What they say about the book

Silvia - “Fantastic guide”
It is a very useful guide to discover Rome, with clear information and with a sense of humor both to see “typical” and to get lost in the city, to the fact of how to get from any of its airports to it and the price scale depending of the transport you choose and your economy. It is an all-in-one, so you don't have to search in different websites, it saves you time 😉
I congratulate you Leti! Aspetto the prossima 🙂

Antonio Martinez Gomez- “Great! Very complete!"
Hi, we are Toni and Amèlia! We are going to Rome and what better way than to inform ourselves from young entrepreneurs!
A very complete and casual guide (history, itineraries, recommendations ...). Useful for all ages and tastes, focused on low budgets. For a symbolic price you have a good and fun guide and, by the way, you help make this couple continue to make their dreams come true.
🙂 It's cool.

Anonymous - “Complete Information”
Recommended for short visits to Rome. It informs you about the story in brief and the essential tourist sites. In addition you discover sites not so well known along with keys on modes of transport, itineraries, accommodation sites, exit areas, where to eat ... very complete!

AliceWalker- "This is the funniest guide I found to get to know Rome!"
This guide is super fun as well as being incredibly useful for perfectly planning a walk / backpacking in Rome! The recommendations are great and one can know several not so common places to see in the Eternal City.
More than recommended!

Amaranta - “Always great”
Following Robe and Lety's blog always means having a fun time because of their peculiar way of explaining their experiences, so this guide as always useful while entertaining and fun! And today is free! don't stop reading it!

Vicpal - “Very useful”
With updated information and practices of both art and the city, of picturesque places, where to eat ... in summary highly recommended.

Luis María Juanes Encimas - “Useful”
Very useful guide with curiosities, tips and tricks to move around Rome. It escapes the traditional guides and it's worth it!

Tamara- "It's not the typical guide for travel +"
The only fault I find is the wording ... Sometimes missing points, commas, etc. For the content, it's great! I bought the guide before going to Rome and read it very fast! It was useful to know places not so typical of the city.
Once in Rome, I made some of the proposed routes (modifying it my way). My next trip will be to London and I surely bought the London guide

Anonymous - "Eager to travel"
Everything is very well explained. I am looking forward to going to Rome to put everything into practice, places, places to visit, restaurants ...

JSPF - “Rome for all tastes”
Fun and complete guide with lots of easy to read explanations and very useful data. It is not a visual guide.
