The recipe Today takes us to Singapore with its mixes of foods, flavors and cultures! Is named Chili crab (ie crab with chili): it is a dish of crab with spicy sauce Let the sea feel good (especially if it is accompanied by a cold beer). Eye: it's easier than it seems, so don't be scared and cheer up: it's rich-rich!
Ingredients
- 2 crabs
- Sunflower oil.
- Garlic and ginger paste (And now you will ask ... what is it? Where do I find garlic and ginger paste? Well, it is quite easily found in Chinese supermarkets, but it is not difficult to do at home. If you dare you will need:
- 20gr of garlic
- 30 g fresh ginger
- 30 g shallots
- 30 g red chili peppers
- 10 grated macadamia nuts (can be substituted for hazelnuts)
For the sauce
- ½ l of chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons chili sauce (or hot sauce)
- ½ cup ketchup
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 lightly beaten eggs
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- Water
- fresh coriander
Elaboration
- We prepare the garlic and ginger paste by mixing all the ingredients in a blender.
- Once we have the pasta, we will put it in a wok with a splash of sunflower oil and fry it for a minute.
- We split the crabs into pieces and crush the tongs. Sauté it in the wok with the garlic and ginger paste until its color becomes darker.
- Add the chicken broth, chili sauce, tomato sauce, sugar and ketchup. Let cook for about 15 minutes.
- So that the sauce thickens we add water, cornstarch and the beaten egg. We leave a few minutes removing the unbelievers.
- We serve the dish with fresh cilantro ... and don't miss a beer!
