In Skopje we spend 3 nights at Shanti Hostel, a very cute hostel run by young and traveling people.
We stay in a bedroom 4 beds (although there are also options for private rooms and 6-bed dormitories) The best thing is that each bed has a curtain that allows you some privacy (come on, nobody will look at you while you sleep with your mouth open!).
The hostel has 3 bathrooms shared (all 3 clean), with kitchen equipped for cooking (about 5 minutes away is a shopping center where there is a supermarket), living room very cozy where to watch TV or chat with the other travelers and the best ... a yard with chill out area, very indian-style, where you can relax, read or talk about travel!
The staff was very friendly and more than in a hostel almost seems to be at friends' house. If you like the hostel roll, meet other travelers and share experiences and want to know where to sleep in Skopje… the Shanti Hostel is your place!
