Whenever Mr. Valeriano (Rober's father) invites us to some wines, we say no, that this is old. Well, maybe we have already passed to the next step in our lives because as soon as they offered us to spend a day tasting wines we didn't think twice!

We did not know that in New Zealand there was so much winemaking tradition ... Here a lot of wine and many different types are produced. We do not need to go far to find several wineries, because in the surroundings of Auckland the weather is perfect for the best quality vineyards.

In total we visited 3 different wineries: Solvans, Westbrook and Coopers creek and tasted more than 20 different wines, that is, imagine how we ended up, but we reminded ourselves that they were all very rich! The truth is that we are not very wine but we notice certain differences with Europeans. Perhaps because New Zealand is a great producer of different fruits, it shows in the wines that fruity touch… it is said so not ?!

And what about the landscapes and enclaves where the vineyards are located, they are wonderful! We wanted to go pick up our backpacks to the hostel and move here for a while.

But we don't just visit vineyards. We take the trip to get to know the beach of Murawai, in an idyllic, super wild environment. Some kite-surfers took advantage of the wind to deploy their kites and glide over the water of the Tasmanian Sea ... a postcard image!

It was a very fun day that we shared with our guide Louis and two Japanese girls. We also met two pigs poking their heads out the window of a car, the dog of one of the producers, we could try different natural honey, including the famous manuka honey, also the famous New Zealand ice cream, we bought fruit and vegetables in a rural supermarket where the products can not be more natural and we ate the best fish and chips we have tried!

Come on ... a round day! Many thanks to Zane and his agency Action tours to give us that great day 🙂
