Today we wake up at 6 in the morning, to have breakfast at 6:30 and start with the safari in the Serengeti How long we have been waiting.

We start the safari in the Serengeti at 7:30, with a full stomach, still with the enthusiasm of the previous night and the cameras charged 100%.

Today we have to see the great plains of Serengeti Park.

Safari in the Serengeti in Tanzania

We are lucky to see some hippos closer and some ostriches also from closer than other days.

Safari in the Serengeti in Tanzania

We see giraffes, elephants, zebras ... but together, we expected to see more wildlife. Perhaps this has been a bit disappointing.

Safari in the Serengeti in Tanzania

Maybe we all had in mind that today in the Serengeti National Park was going to be spectacular and that's why we "disappointed" a little. The morning was not quite right, "animally" speaking.
If we see some giant owls in a tree and take the opportunity to take the pictures. In the absence of lions, it's time to cling to any other animal we see.

About 12 in the morning we set off again for the camp.
Today's planning is more relaxed and we will eat at Tented Camp del Seregenti, to later be able to take a nap, until 4 in the afternoon that we will go out again to do another safari in the Serengeti.
The surprise is when we get off the truck, we see that there is a giraffe behind the shops.

Most of us run away to see it up close and take pictures. The feeling of being so close is impressive.

Between the landscape and the sensations, it is impossible not to be all day with a smile in your mouth.
Today we have to eat pizza, sausage and potatoes. As always, we also have salad first. It is clear that this trip is not going to go hungry, the other way around. We believe that we will return home with a few extra pounds.
For dessert some great mangoes, which just sweetened the day.
The theme of food, which we had a little "fear" before starting the trip is leaving us impressed.
It's amazing how well they cook and how they prepare everything, saying they have to do everything with a small fire.
After eating and knowing that today we have some rest hours, we take a coffee while we talk about how the morning went with the group.
Seeing that we have an hour left to leave again safari in the Serengeti, we opted to go rest for a while.

It is suffocatingly hot, so we get into stores and rest for a while, before getting back on track.
About 4 we return to our truck, to start our safari in the Serengeti pm.

Safari in the Serengeti in Tanzania

I think we all had the illusion of seeing something “impressive” and we called good luck.
We see several lions very close to the truck, on the same road, we can take very good close-ups and we are standing there for quite some time.
With this experience, we can conclude the day.

When we realize it is time to return to camp in the Seregenti. Upon arrival we take a shower, watching the sunset and enjoying one of the best showers we have ever had.
After watching the sunset, we sit at the table to celebrate our last dinner with the chef and the staff of the Tented Camp del Serengeti.

Tonight we have African specialties, which are very good and after dinner, we make a small celebration, with typical African and Spanish songs.
For dessert they have prepared a cake, for a couple who are on their honeymoon. A great detail by the staff.
Almost without realizing it, we see that it is 12 o'clock at night and we have to say goodbye ...
It has been a great night in Tanzania, for a great day in Africa.
