Today in our particular paradise, it has begun with the sound of the waves and an almost imperceptible sound of an alarm clock. We are in Ari Sud in Maldives and this is paradise.
Last night we put it because today we didn't want to miss the first sunrise at the Water Villas of the Diamonds Thudufushi.
Last night we remembered that we slept with the gentle breeze that entered through the balcony of the room and a slight rumble of waves that accompanied us until we went to the "other plane" of our dreams.
If sleeping here is a joy, we cannot explain what it is like to wake up. Amazing.

As soon as we get out of bed we make a coffee in the coffee maker that we have at our disposal in the room and we go out to the terrace to be able to contemplate the sunrise that reminds us that we are in Ari Sud in the Maldives.

Before breakfast is served, we take the opportunity to enjoy the terrace of our Water Villa, in one of the many relaxing corners we have.

One of the exclusive services of accommodation in the Water Villas is the possibility of serving breakfast in the same room.
Yesterday, at the last minute, we ordered breakfast at 8 in the morning and punctually like a clock, they bite at the door and 2 boys from the staff enter with a couple of trays.
They mount the terrace table in a minute and serve us from coffee and tea, freshly squeezed fruit juices to bread, sausage, pasta, eggs ...

These days that we are here we have made the firm intention of taking things easy and above all enjoy that, the tranquility and relaxation offered by not only being in the Maldiva's Islands, if not everything around us.

After breakfast, we approach a moment to "mainland", where we go to look for snorkeling equipment.

This is another of the free services offered by the Diamonds Thudufushi resort.
We just have to go to a place next to the reception where after a chat with one of the instructors they give us the complete snorkeling equipment.
The "life" in the Maldiva's Islands, at least in these types of resorts and we imagine that in the majority, it is quiet. Everything is designed to make your life easy and you just have to worry about relaxing and enjoying that relaxation.

We are not going to deny that when we begin to consider the idea of Maldiva's Islands as a possible complement to trip to Sri Lanka The first thing we think is that we would not be able to be 3 or 4 days in a row without "doing anything."
Now, after having tested the experience, we can confirm firsthand that we could not only be 5 and a half days as we were ... we can say that we could be like this all our lives!
The Maldiva's Islands They are one of the destinations that have surprised us most in our travels, precisely because of that, for thinking that we would like to, but that we would get tired after a few hours ... And we have been able to verify that it has been the opposite.
In the morning we can say that it almost comes to us without realizing it.
In direct access to the sea from our Water Bungalow it makes it much easier to take a dip from time to time and lose yourself snorkeling.

One of the many incredible things about the Water Villa is the terrace that we have exclusively.
If the covered area, where we have a couple of sofas and a small table and a larger table where breakfast is served, is impressive, the outdoor terrace area is already incredible.
We have a couple of double sun loungers, very comfortable, with mattresses that allow us to enjoy the time that the atoll of today has given us Ari Sud in the Maldives.

The restaurant on the water is exclusive to the people who stay at the Water Villa and is at the beginning of the walkway that leads to the Villas on the Water.
This restaurant serves a fixed menu, three dishes plus dessert, in an impressive setting.

The quality of the food is very good, comparable to any "5 star" restaurant.
The first course is usually a quick starter, between two dishes to choose from. The second is usually a pasta dish or a salad plate and the third is a dish to choose between meat or fish.
For dessert they also give a couple of options.

The service is perfect, faultless although at all times it is close to customers.
The Diamonds Thudufushi is an All Inclusive resort and in this restaurant we have the same system. We can drink what we want and eat as we please, without paying anything. Except if you drink a couple of “high-end” drinks, they do have to be paid.
Here it is not in a hurry to finish eating, vice versa, here we find the ideal place to make the desktop with a couple of espresso that we do not forgive even one day ...
Although tea has been a discovery in Sri Lanka, we cannot deny that recovering our coffee has been something that had become almost a necessity.
After lunch, we repeat what we did yesterday and go to the beach bar, where we have another coffee to finish the table.
Before returning to our Water Villa to enjoy an afternoon on the water, we take the opportunity to make a “photo report” of the Water Villas area.

At any other time, this would have seemed like a tourist, but we can not help taking hundreds of photos waiting to capture everything we are living these days in the Maldiva's Islands.

We spend more than an hour flying through the catwalks and seeing, each time we stop, better views than the previous ones.

We have been here for a day and we can already say that we have set foot in paradise ... and we never want to leave !!

The rest of the afternoon we spent in our Water Villa, sunbathing, reading ... some dip ... taking something from the minibar we have in the room ...
One afternoon of those we can qualify as "complete".

We thought we would never say this, but we are taking the taste of this life ...
In the room we have an IMac at our disposal, which we have to admit that we do not even turn on the days we stayed here.
In the Water Villas we have free wifi and that we do use from time to time to send some email and upload some photos.

Today we had a spectacular day. The day we arrived they told us that the weather on these dates was a bit revolutionized.
We have to say that we knew perfectly well what we risk coming at this time, but we are not going to lie, coming to this resort, in high season, represents an economic outlay comparable to trip to Sri Lanka and Maldives complete, so the "add" Maldives to Sri Lanka It also had a lot to do with traveling in the low season and seeing that prices could fit them in the travel budget.
After 6 in the afternoon, the sun begins to take an orange tone, notifying us that the sunset is about to arrive and that it is time to take a seat on our terrace and enjoy another one of "our sunsets around the world" ...

We have seen many sunsets, but surely this, for what it represents at the moment, has been a very special one.
Time has continued to give us that truce that has maintained throughout our trip, except the afternoon that it rained to the seas and lets us enjoy not only this sunset, but also our entire stay in Maldives.

After having an incredible sunset, we take a shower and go straight to the beach bar where we have drinks and a cocktail with some snacks before going to dinner at the restaurant on the water.

Shortly before 10 pm we go to the restaurant on the water of the Diamonds Thudufushi where we dined in luxury, today with an interpreter who accompanies us with piano ballads and makes us feel, again, in a magical place.
As usual, we ask for our express and after a long table and before returning to our Water Villa, we take a walk on the catwalks ... that remind us that we are in paradise.

Shortly after 11 pm we return to our Water Villa and before getting into bed, we cannot avoid lying on the sun loungers on our terrace where we have one of the most beautiful skies we have ever seen. This is paradise. This is the Diamonds Thudufushi. These are the Maldiva's Islands.
