Arriving at our hotel in Sigiriya, the Sigiriya Hideout and not feeling at home from the moment you cross the garden, is impossible.
The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city and 5 minutes by car from Sigiriya.
Upon arrival they receive us with a freshly made juice and explain the operation of the hotel, schedules ... etc.

The rooms are large, very clean and with very comfortable beds, something that is appreciated after so many days of traveling sleeping in different places.

In the room we have all the comforts and we also find a kettle where you can heat water and tea bags, coffee, sugar ...
This is something that we had not yet found in any of the accommodations and we have to say that for us, without being an essential, it is a detail that comes great first thing in the morning and in the evening when we are resting in the room and we feel like having something hot.
The bathrooms are also large and very comfortable.

We are struck by the detail of putting shampoos, gels ... etc in small doses, which makes the application super comfortable.
In the Sigiriya Hideout we have free Wi-Fi throughout the premises, although in the area of the rooms the signal is smaller and sometimes we have cuts.

Apart from the facilities, which are 10, one of the things we liked the most was the attention we received at all times from the Hideout staff. They are simply great.
They made us feel as if we were at home.
In the Hideout we also have a pool that delights anyone once you arrive after climbing to Sigiriya!

Every morning they have staff people who leave it impeccable to be able to take a dip early in the morning if you want.
Another highlight of this hotel in Sigiriya is the food. The breakfasts with an unbeatable quality and an amount that is impossible to finish.
At all times, when serving the different dishes, we have someone who explains what it is, how it is made ... etc.
Meals and dinners are, like breakfast, of high quality and with amounts worth mentioning.
