TRAVEL PREPARATIONS

It was in January of this year that we were confirmed that this year we would have Christmas, New Year's Eve and Kings holidays.
We did not expect to have the possibility of traveling this year again and we immediately remember the trip to Israel and Palestine last year.
This year we have a few more days, so choosing destination and more being these dates, it became a bit desperate.

We do not know very well how, but we ended up looking at flights to one of the destinations that had made us more excited for years. And when we checked that we had flights, at a very good price, in the middle of Christmas, flying on December 20 at a time that perfectly matched our work and we could return the same day January 6 and arrive in Barcelona at 12 night, to be able to work on day 7 ... we don't doubt it !!!
This year we are leaving ...

Kinkaku-ji

… to Japan!!!
The entrance will be through Osaka and we will immediately move to Kyoto where we will spend the next 6 nights.

Bamboo Forest in Arashiyama

The idea is to squeeze the city to the fullest in the days we have and include some excursion to Kobe, Inari, Nara ...
Initially when preparing a trip to Japan we thought about buying the 7-day JRP and concentrate all the departures in 7 days and thus save a little, but after giving it many laps and thanks to the queries we made to several experts in Japan, we chose to take the JRP for 14 days and thus go more free of movements.
We say that during this time of the year the daylight hours are greatly reduced and this was one of the things that made us doubt about this destination, but at the same time, the opportunity to live this time of year in a country like Japan, they made the balance lean towards “let's Japan!!”
After seeing Kyoto, we will have a few days of movement.
We will start with Okayama, visiting its famous gardens, to continue the day in Hiroshima and end in Miyajima, where in the end we have been able to find accommodation without leaving the budget for the entire trip.

Recommended travel cards

After this first day of "movement", we will spend the day at Osaka, where we hope to have that intermediate day of travel, in which apart from visiting all we can of the city, enjoy strolling aimlessly ...
The next day we will start again, heading towards the Japanese Alps, where we will make a brief incursion.
The next two days we have a somewhat saturated route planning, which we hope to cover, although in case of not being able to do it, as we are clear that one day we will return to Japan, we are not going to get discouraged!
We will make the first stop in Kanazawa, where we will spend a few hours, then continue our way until Takayama, where we will stay in a temple.
The next day, we hope, if the weather and the weather allow us, to reach Shirakawago ...

Shirakawago

After these two days in the Japanese Alps, where we hope to return one day to enjoy the area with more time, we will go to Tokyo, city in which we will spend the rest of the trip.
