Our trip to Indonesia in 26 days allowed us to know part of one of the largest countries in the world.
For this trip, the first thing we had to do is decide which islands we wanted to know, since by having only 26 days, we had to reduce the number of places we wanted to know.
We started the trip in Java, in Jakarta, where the day after arriving we flew to Yogyakarta where we spent a couple of days getting to know both the city and the famous Borobudur and Prambanan Temples.
From here we drove by car to the Dieng Plateau, where we could see that natural phenomena in Indonesia are present at every step you take.

After visiting the Dieng Plateau we went to Semarang where the next day we took a flight to Pangkalanbun, in Borneo, where they waited for us to do for 3 days one of the most beautiful routes we have ever done. We enter through the Seconyer River in the Tanjung Puting Reserve in search of orangutans.

After this unique experience, we return to Java to go to Malang, passing through Solo, from where we will enjoy a unique sunrise over the Bromo. Undoubtedly one of those sunrises that we will never forget.
From here we move to Surabaya, from where we will fly to Denpasar, in Bali.
Bali was for us during the 6 days we were a discovery. We enjoy every minute we spend on the island. A mixture of everything we were looking for in this trip: culture, nature, cities, gastronomy ...

From Bali we moved by speedboat to Lombok, where it seems that we went back in time and found ourselves in a kind of Bali 20 years ago.
For 3 days we enjoyed brief excursions around the island, a small hotel where we felt at home.
The final part of the trip was in Gili Trawangan, where we traveled by speedboat and where we were the last 5 days of the trip, enjoying the beach and some islands that are a paradise, both in and out of the water.

The best time a trip to Indonesia for free is from April to June when the days are drier and the maximum temperatures are bearable.
The months of September to March are rainy and between the months of January and February, the rains are usually widespread.
In August it is high season, so prices and tourism soar
