Our trip to Kenya and Tanzania in 16 days took us to these two African countries that we wanted to know so much, where we could enjoy unforgettable days of pure nature.
For this trip we opted to hire the services of an agency, since it was the most reasonable option counting on the little time we had to organize it.
Not wanting to make the type of conventional trip that is usually done to these countries, we decided to choose an agency that was more framed in the "adventure trip" and in the end we decided on the agency that best suited our budget and way of seeing This trip, leaving aside the conventional 4 × 4 to move in a truck that will become our house most days of the trip.
We also left the well-known lodges and opted for the tents, tented camp and bungalows that we will intersperse according to the place where we stay.
We started our trip to Kenya and Tanzania in 16 days flying from Barcelona to Nairobi, where we spent our first night.
On the second day of the trip we start the route moving to Lake Nakuro, which will be the first stop of our tour.
The third day we arrive at Masai Mara, where we will spend the next two full days, enjoying one of the most incredible parks in Kenya.
From here we go to Lake Victoria, where we live the most human part of the trip, visiting a town and a school in the area.
From here we continue our trip, arriving at the well-known Serengeti, where we spent the next two days, staying in a Tented Camp of the agency, which taught us that there is no need for a stay in a 5-star hotel, having at our disposal the incredible African sky.
After our visit to the Serengeti we headed to another of Tanzania's best-known parks, Ngorongoro, where we were lucky to discover an Eden.
From here we go to Arusha, our last stop of the "safari" tour and from where we take a plane that will take us to Zanzibar, another paradise where we enjoy the last days of our trip, between the beach of Kizimkazi and Stone Town.
