Our trip to Amsterdam in 5 days He took us to enjoy a city that we wanted to reach for years and that for one reason or another, we had always left aside.
They say that there are not many countries in the world with so much water under their land and with so much land taken to the sea. We are talking about the Netherlands.
With a high population density, the Netherlands is also one of the most tolerant countries in the world.
The same can be said of Amsterdam, the capital of culture, coffees shop and canals, where we can find buildings from the s. XVII combined with sculptures smoking joints.
No city combines history and urban modernity like Amsterdam does.

Amsterdam map

In Amsterdam we will not get tired of finding places dedicated to art. In Van Gogh Museum we can enjoy the world's largest collection of this excellent artist.
A few hundred meters away, we have the Rijksmuseum, where is La Lechera de Vermeer, The night round of Rembrandt, among others.
And if we still want more, we cannot forget the Museum het Rembrandthuis, the Stedelijk Museum and the Hermitage Amsterdam, which exhibits wonderful works of Russia.

They say that Amsterdam is known above all for its cordiality, something that we can feel in any aspect of the city, not only walking through its neighborhoods, but in the long tables in any restaurant or coffee bruin, where we will enjoy walls impregnated with the smell of tobacco and some wood paneling.

Amsterdam canals

The transport in Amsterdam passes, almost exclusively, by bicycle, a vehicle that is used for almost everything, so much, that we can find rental stores in any corner of the city.
And if you want to change for a few hours of transportation, you will always have the boat. With as many channels as streets, it will always be a pleasure to get on a barge to enjoy magnificent and different views of the city.

In Amsterdam, the high tourist season includes the months from June to August, the warmest months and also with more hours of daylight.
If you want to enjoy one of the best known views of the Netherlands, such as tulips, we remind you that they bloom between March and May.
