Day 21 - LIMA - AMSTERDAM - BARCELONA

We've spent most of the night with that sleeper that the planes give you, today a flight from Lima to Barcelona with stopover in Amsterdam and especially the returns home where it seems that you are wishing to sleep to avoid remembering that the trip is over.

We still have to make a few hours of stopover in Amsterdam, an airport that we will step on again in a few months when we come to make an escape to this city that we really want to know and while we wait for the last plane to take us off Again to Barcelona, we can do nothing but remember what has been one of the most special trips we have ever made, Peru.

Lime, the city that welcomed us on our arrival in Peru and that allowed us to know a little more of one of the less known cities.

Lima Cathedral in the Plaza de Armas

Paracas, that National Reserve that we fell in love with since we arrived and with which we met one of the most beautiful landscapes in the country and from which we took not only its nature, but also Ricardo.

Red Beach in the Paracas National Reserve

The Huacachina Oasis, one of those places from which you listen to opinions for all tastes but that we especially liked.

The Nazca Lines, an enigma that we discover aboard a plane, with more dizziness than anything else, but that now, seen from a distance, we recognize that it is an experience that must be lived once in a lifetime.

The hummingbird. Nazca Lines

Arequipa, that city that welcomed us from the first moment we arrived between its streets of white, red and blue.

Arequipa Monastery

The Colca Valley, a brief break in the trip that took us to the "highest in Peru" through the condors and the coca tea.

Colca Valley

Titicaca Lake and its famous Uros and Taquile IslandsAnother of the destinations that we had been told was too touristy to take into account. We get a great memory and also a great experience.

Uros on Lake Titicaca

Cuzco, the city where we would have stayed to live if it had been possible. A love at first sight.

Cuzco views

The ruins of many Inca enclaves around Cuzco as Sacsayhuaman, have been the most archaeological part of the trip and at the same time the most exciting. Without a doubt some visits that you can not miss in Peru

Sacsayhuaman

Pisac, perhaps one of the most interesting and recommended enclaves in Peru. We fell in love since we arrived in town.

Views of the earth terraces of Pisac

Macchu Picchu, the icing on the cake and of course an essential visit on any trip to Peru.

"Dreams only die if the dreamer dies"

Moray, like Ollantaytambo, the Salineras de Maras or Chinchero, a perfect end to finish knowing the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Moray, an essential stop

The Peruvian Amazon. For us a perfect end to this trip that has been for us one of the most incredible we have ever done.
Peru, a country we have fallen in love with.
