Villages of La Rioja

1- Santo Domingo de la Calzada

2- Briones

3- Calahorra
Visiting Calahorra is inevitably entering its Cathedral and how not in its beautiful cloister, one of the most beautiful you can find in the area. Although the capital of Rioja Baja also has many places that we cannot miss such as the Museum of Romanization or the Museum of Vegetables.

4- Arnedo
Getting to Arnedo is contemplating one of the most beautiful towns in La Rioja. We recommend that you approach the Mirador del Castillo, dominating the city to the east, from where you will have unique views of both the city and the surrounding valley. By the way, do not forget to try the fardelejos, a type of typical Arnedo pastry of Arab origin, made of very fine puff pastry with a filling similar to marzipan but much lighter.

5- Ezcaray
Ezcaray is one of the most tourist villages in this area of ​​Spain, as it is a town surrounded by beautiful mountain landscapes and the Valdezcaray ski resort, another of its great attractions.

6- Alfaro
Alfaro, known in recent times for the white storks that nest in the Collegiate Church of San Miguel, is another of the populations that you can miss in a tour of La Rioja.
If you want to have a good perspective, we advise you to approach the hermitage of Pilar, from where you will surely fall in love with Alfaro, if you had not already done so.

7- Sagazarra
Sajazarra is a small town in La Rioja whose charm seems to spread as it travels its incredible network of medieval streets, its spectacular church and its great castle.

If you are in the area, do not miss the Hermitage of Santa María de Cillas, about a kilometer and a half in the direction of Castilseco, a Romanesque building that we assure you, will not leave you indifferent.
