Day 18: Best photographs Guatemala and Honduras - Flight Frankfurt-Barcelona
It is 12 in the morning when we wake up or rather we open our eyes after practically spending the entire flight without sleep and that is that United Airlines on this occasion has put us a super modern plane, but just like that the space between seats is super Small, much less than usual and the recline of seats practically non-existent, so you can get an idea of how we spent the night, only comforted by the memory of the photographs of Guatemala and Honduras that we have been eyeing with the passing of the hours. When we recover our composure a little, we are still flying over "the world", now with a completely covered sky, which reminds us that we are in the middle of winter and the days of sun and short sleeves leave them behind.
Flying over Frankfurt
We landed in Frankfurt at 12 in the morning, with just under an hour to make the connection with the flight to Barcelona, something that makes us take a run, not to lose the connection, with the luck of passing passport control very quickly and being in the same terminal of departure of the flight, arrive with almost 20 minutes, that we take advantage of for a coffee, that clears us a little and gives us the strength to face the next flight.
We do not need more than 5 minutes in our seat to fall round and recover in these less than two hours the dream we had lost on the previous flight.
We wake up just when we are flying over the Costa Brava, approaching Barcelona, which welcomes us with a clear sky, welcoming us.

We land on time, when we take the opportunity to call Aparca & Vola, our usual parking service in El Prat, which when we go out with our backpacks are already waiting for us with the car at the terminal door, something that as we will not get tired of saying, is A great relief, especially when you come from a trip like this, in which we have been resting for more than 24 hours.
Now we have nothing left but to ride in the car and travel the 60 kilometers that separate us from home, something we do remembering the images and the best photographs of Guatemala and Honduras that we have brought from this incredible journey. A trip that we will never forget, that has exceeded all our expectations and that has taught us much more than we expected.
Antigua, a city that surprised us so much, that we would have spent many more days. Hopefully we can come back soon and meet her much more calmly.
