The province of Girona, located in the northeast of Spain, is one of the most beautiful areas in Europe and we recommend you visit as soon as possible. Girona, being our province of residence, we can say that we know it quite well. We have also been fortunate to make many getaways to visit some of its most charming places.
Based on our experience we have dared to make a list of the 50 things to see and do in Girona that we consider most essential in a trip through these wonderful lands full of charm. We start!

1. Take a walk in the autumn at La Fageda d'en Jordà, a beautiful beech forest that grows between the volcanoes of La Garrotxa.
2. Find the beautiful town of Beget, a very small town, with stone houses and wooden balconies, surrounded by nature, that will make you feel inside a story.
3. Get lost in El Call, the old Jewish quarter of Girona and a labyrinth of narrow streets and courtyards that maintain its medieval charm, as well as being one of the best preserved Jewish quarters in the world.
