After having been on 3 occasions in this city, the first in a trip to Rome in 6 days, several years ago and then repeat with a trip to Rome on a weekend, now we return to this impressive city, in which We will be practically a month staying in the charming neighborhood of Trastevere, from where we will return to visit the most emblematic places of the city and from where we hope to know and discover many more that we will include in this travel guide to Rome, in the most complete way, trying facilitate planning and above all, trying to capture all the data extracted from our experience.

When to travel to Rome

Although we could say that any time is good for a trip to Rome, since the city will receive you with open arms throughout the year, the months that cover the spring and autumn periods are somewhat more pleasant, both for temperatures and for avoid in this way the agglomerations that usually exist in the most tourist places during the months of June, July and August, which are also among the hottest of the year.

On our third trip to Rome we have chosen September to enjoy it and from what we have seen, it is one of the best times, both for weather and season, as it allows you to enjoy the city in a relaxed way, but also with good time and with enough hours of light to lengthen the day and make the most of it.

If you are looking for a neighborhood with charm, history and also have good restaurants, without a doubt, Trastevere is one of the best options to stay in Rome.
