Keep in mind that as we mentioned before, in addition to these rooms there are other more expensive ones that include different options such as suites, breakfast included, hotel promotions, rooms for 3 people ... etc. We recommend you look at this link to see all the options offered by the Hotel Marina Bay Sands.

Main features of Marina Bay Sands rooms

  • All rooms have free access to the Sands SkyPark observation deck and the infinity pool, which only hotel guests can access.
  • Exclusive entrance to the Banyan Tree fitness club.
  • Fully stocked minibar Please note that the moment you move something from the minibar, it is automatically charged in the room even if you do not consume it.
  • Free high speed Wi-Fi. We work perfectly and even upload high quality photographs to the cloud without any problem.
  • 24-hour room service
  • Kettle service with selection of coffees and free teas.
  • Interactive flat screen TV.
  • Bathrobe and slippers for each guest to use in the infinity pool.
  • Key for each guest necessary to enter the room (the elevator only works with the key) and necessary to climb the SkyPark Sands and the Infinity Pool, both for the elevator and for access.

Night views from the Deluxe room with sky views

Breakfast is not included in the price of the room and is 33 euros per person. In our experience, the price is very high for what it offers and also, in many cases, there are so many people in the dining room that you have to queue to access the breakfast room. For this reason we believe it is much more advisable to choose to have breakfast in any of the cafeterias of the mall or at the destination of the first visit you have that day.
Another option is to have breakfast by the pool, for a much tighter price and with much more unforgettable views. We had breakfast at the pool several times and the price never exceeded 20 euros in exchange for two people with coffees, fruit and pastries.

When do I make a reservation at the Marina Bay Sands?

Our experience tells us that the sooner you book your stay at the Hotel Marina Bay Sands, much better. We booked more or less 6 months in advance and we had no problems choosing the room we wanted, although several travelers have told us that with that time and in high season, they found that there was no availability.
That is why we believe that if you have decided to stay at the Marina Bay Sands, it is best to book as soon as possible, to avoid running out of seats.

What to see and do at Marina Bay Sands

In addition to of course the rooms and the service, the Marina Bay Sands Hotel stands out for certain services, which make it unique and one of the best hotels in the world.

Infinity pool

Considered the largest rooftop pool in the world, the Marina Bay Sands pool is located on the 57th floor of the hotel, is 150 meters long and offers truly stunning views of the city and its skyline.
Accessible only to hotel guests, something that makes it even more attractive, this is undoubtedly one of the great reasons to stay at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel.

Infinity Pool Marina Bay Sands

Infinity pool

After our experience we have to say that although we had been told that the pool was always very crowded, nothing could be further from the truth. Although in the central hours of the day, the pool is usually very busy, if you want to enjoy it practically without anyone, we recommend you go up early in the day, at which time you can enjoy 2 or 3 hours with virtually no one.
It is also the perfect time to enjoy a good coffee and breakfast in one of the many hammocks available.

OPENING HOURS: Daily from 6am to 11pm.
ACCESS: The Marina Bay Sands Hotel to guarantee a unique experience, have decided that access to the infinity pool is restricted to hotel guests, who can only access with their room access card.
FOOD: Service available from 7am to 11pm. They include breakfast, lunch, snacks and a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
FACILITIES: Towels and sun loungers are available free of charge in the pool.

SkyPark Sands

Another of the great attractions of the Marina Bay is the SkyPark, an observation platform, from which you get stunning panoramic views of the city, which include the Gardens by the Bay, the South Pier Marina and the Strait of Singapore.
Please note that access is free for hotel guests whenever you want. In our experience, we advise you to come at various times of the day, especially at mid-morning and in the afternoon, perfect moments to enjoy the views with the best light.
Another perfect moment is at dawn, especially if your room does not have Gardens by the Bay views, to enjoy the sunrise.

In this restaurant you can enjoy modern Asian cuisine with unique views of the city while in the SkyBar you can have a cocktail with unique views of the Singapore skyline.

Lavo Italian Restaurant

This Italian restaurant turns into a famous nightclub at sunset from which to enjoy some of the best views of the city.

Spago Bar

Located on the 57th floor of the Marina Bay Sands, from the Spago Bar you can enjoy magnificent views of Singapore.

Singapore night views

Spectra show

If there is a show that no traveler is missing in Singapore, this is Spectra, the light, water and sound show that the Marina Bay Sands Hotel performs for free several times a day.
The show lasts 15 minutes during which you can enjoy incredible water games, colorful visual games, music that does not leave you indifferent and special effects that we are sure, will not leave you indifferent.

Spectra show

SCHEDULE:
Sunday to Thursday: 8pm and 9pm
Friday and Saturday: 8pm, 9pm and 10pm

Where to watch the show Spectra

The ideal place to see the Spectra show is in front of the Marina Bay Sands, in the Event Plaza area, right next to the Rain Oculus. In this position you can enjoy the show in the front row, watching the games of lights, water and sound close enough to even get wet with the water fountains.
Similarly, if you are two nights in this area, we advise you to approach another day to Merlion. In addition to the walk there will allow you to enjoy the sunset and the blue hour over the bay, you can see the Spectra show from another perspective that although much less attractive at the auditory level, since the music is practically not heard, yes that you can enjoy the lighting of the Marina Bay Sands during the 15 minutes of the show.

Museum of Art and Science

With a permanent exhibition and different itineraries, the Museum of Art and Science of Singapore is another place you can not miss in the city.
If you only want to visit the best known exhibition, we advise you not to miss Future world which is the permanent exhibition, in which you can visit different rooms in which art and science merge creating magical and incredibly photogenic spaces.

Museum of Art and Science

SCHEDULES: Admission times are as follows: 10am, 11:30 am, 1pm, 2:30 pm, 4pm and 5:30 pm. Keep in mind that during the busiest hours of the public, you can find quite long queues, so a good option is to book the ticket here in advance and thus avoid the queues and the lack of availability that there are some weekends.

Marina Bay Sands Shopping Center

Without fear of being wrong, we would dare to say that this is one of the most luxurious shopping centers in the world, where the most exclusive fashion brands are concentrated. And even if you do not intend to buy, we advise you to spend a couple of hours losing yourself in its aisles, just to see them and understand that other side of Singapore, which is not always visible, but also exists in the city.

Marina Bay Sands Shopping Center

It is also a perfect place if you are staying at the hotel for lunch or coffee if you want to leave the central tower area.

Food Court Marina Bay Sands

On the ground floor of The Shoppes, the Marina Bay Sands Shopping Center, you will find a Food Court or food court with several dozen stalls where you can taste different dishes from different cuisines at much tighter prices than in the rest of the restaurants in the Hotel or shopping center.

What we liked about Marina Bay Sands

Although after the experience and as we have commented on several occasions, we believe that staying at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel is an experience in itself, that you should always try to enter within your budget, we want to highlight in addition to what has been commented above, some details that have caught our attention and that we want to highlight.

  • Although this should be commonplace, unfortunately it does not always happen and at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel it is a constant. Despite having more than 2500 rooms and huge facilities, cleanliness is really a great protagonist, something that is much appreciated.
  • Taking into account the number of rooms, it is completely understandable that there is no personalized service, but we have had details during our stay that we liked and a lot. One of them was a day when by mistake we press the button "do not bother", so they didn't make us the room in the morning and when they realized we were leaving in the afternoon, they told us to make the room.
  • Leaving a bathrobe that you can use to go to the pool is a very favorable point.
  • In the pool there is a towel service that you can take and return daily.
  • The free Wi-Fi is exceptional, something that is appreciated and much more and taking into account the amount of rooms and connections that are daily.
  • They have a quick check out service, something very useful if you leave the hotel with little time.
  • Although check in is at noon, you can arrive earlier and they give you access to the common areas of the hotel that include the gym, the infinity pool and the viewing platform.

Marina Bay Sands

What we didn't like about Marina Bay Sands

  • Although we understand that for some guests the opposite may be the case, we change the sheets and towels every day, even without the client's request, we believe that it does not encourage responsible tourism.
  • That the price of the rooms does not include breakfast and this is really expensive, it seems a nonsense. We understand that perhaps the approach is to limit guests who have breakfast for lack of space, but we believe that this is something that they should raise in some other way and include it in the price.
  • And although it may sound topical, we can't really say anything else that we didn't like about the hotel, since the experience has been one, true brutality!

Book your room at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel here and enjoy an unforgettable experience in Singapore.
