The Roma Pass is a Rome tourist card, which in this case, includes free admission to one or two historical and archaeological monuments of Rome, depending on whether you buy the 48-hour Rome Pass or the 72-hour Rome Pass and reduced prices in the following.
The important and most interesting thing about this card is that all the places included are among the essential places to visit in Rome, something that makes it very attractive for travelers who want to know the city.

Remember that if you have purchased the OMNIA card, it already includes the 72-hour Rome Pass and free transport in the city.

What includes?

As we discussed earlier, depending on the Rome Pass you choose, this will have access to 1 attraction (48 hours Pass) or 2 attractions (72 hours Pass) and reduced price at the entrance to the following, including:

  • Colosseum (reservation required)
  • Roman Forum and Palatine Hill (reservation required)
  • Capitoline Museums
  • Villa Borghese Gallery + direct access to security control
  • Sant'Angelo Castle + direct access to security control
  • Ruins of Appia Antica and Ostia Antica
  • Discount at 30 museums and tourist attractions in Rome as well as audio guides such as the Colosseum.
  • Travelcard Rome. With it you can use all public transport in Rome for free.
  • Map of Rome

Remember to make reservations for the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Borghese Gallery in advance.

How does it work?

The Roma Pass is valid for 48 or 72 hours Depending on the type of tourist pass you have chosen and it has a very intuitive and easy operation:

  1. Validate it in the first place you are going to visit or in public transport.
  2. Access directly at the first tourist attraction in Rome you visit. From the second place, you must go to the ticket office to request entry (only for travelers who have a 72-hour pass). Remember that for the Colosseum and the Forum you need prior reservation.
  3. Remember that to access the attractions you just have to put the card in the reader.
  4. From the first or second visit, depending on the pass you have purchased, to get the reduced price on subsequent visits, you must go to the ticket office.
